I'm now at home surfing the net. It's a good thing I'm surfing the net for personal reasons and not related to my school or work or anything. I finally have the time of my own to check my friendster, multiply, perfspot accounts, email etc. Today was a bit frustrating and relieving at the same time. Relieve because I'm quite done with my Audio Visual Presentation for our Asian Civilization forum about Israel and our Scholars assembly together with the President was finished, too. Frustrating because I wasn't able to have our quiz in Maternal and Child Health Nursing and take part in our play...it means that I have no grade. The quiz and the play is supposed to be yesterday, but Sir Tatuala was not around so it was moved to this day. Nevertheless, I have the Scholars Assembly thingy and it is a protocol for all scholars to attend the meeting  so I have no choice but to miss the class. CAS and CON were noted so I am excused in my classes. Moreover, the experiences with my fellow scholars (my family) with the executives of the college were fruitful.

 

I'm a bit frustrated, worried with our forum. We don't have a nice place in our school to accomodate the Ambassador of Israel for the lunch. The conference room in CAS is small for the gathering, the Language Center is good but not that accomodating with the English books in the room. The best would be the Executive office but Ma'am Becha, the secretary to the President of the College, does not confirm yet, she still needs to talk with the President. She gave another option - The Caregive unit, she said its nice, too with a living, dining room etc. So we (Angela, Ma'am Gacos - our Asian Civ adviser) went to the Administrative Office, Ma'am Chris (secretary) said it is okay to use the room and to look inside first...but then when we are about to look for a guy so that we could see the caregiver room... Ma'am Esguerra the Admin Director told him, that she does not let us use the room...without saying a reason... So tomorrow, I and Angela would go to her and send a letter. Howcome they don't want to accomodate the Ambassador of Israel and give them a nice place to stay. Hello?! this is the Ambassador we are talking... Okay lang sana kung guest lang yan from other school etc. but Ambassador of the Israel to the Philippines visiting Manila Doctors College. To think that our section BSN III-5 would be really remembered by the Ambassador when he will attend the forum...it' the school itself nho!? The Manila Doctors College...

 

It's also a good thing our school got 95% passing rate in the Nursing Licensure Board Exam, but to say that it depends on the school, maybe but not all, it depends on the student or the graduates. Mabuti na din nagtanggal ang school ng mga bagsak at nasala ung mga mgttake ng exam..kaya naka 95% kasi sala sila...as in daming natanggal sa batch nila...Survival of the fittest nga dba..but I don't know with the succeeding batches, batch 2008 right now, they are 700+; while our batch 900+ right now, we're batch 2009. So I don't expect a 100% passing rate...maybe 75% would be the safest...if they will continue to give waivers etc. just to keep the students in MDC...nah... But I'm still hoping that the next batches to take the Exam would exceed the 95% passing rate of batch 2007 with around 250 who took the Exam...

It's a good thing I finally have my dream to have a laptop...hehe and I'm loving it.. with a nice webcam - 1.3mp.. intel core 2 duo; it has 2 processors and RAM of 1024mb and a hard disk space of 120gb... grabeh dami ko ngagawa at di nghahang... edit ng video while surfing the net, playing music etc.. nghhang nlng siya kapag matgal ng wlang phnga o kaya mgview ng vcd..lakas kasi kumain ng video edit ko..tas vista...tsk tsk...lakas kumain ng space ng vista... kelangan na din ireformat toh...hihi dame ng nakainstall...bsta ayusin ko xa kapag my time...thanks to my mom...matatapos na din niang bayaran to next month...mejo luluwag na din kami, nababawasan ksi ng 10k a month ung pdla nia pra pmbyad laptop...aun salamat sobra kay mama...sobrang laking tulong nitong laptop saken at sa skul...kapag my case pres, un nga activities etc..at sa work din...I love my mom tlga..sana mkgrad nko at mkpgwork na para pahinga na mama ko sa pgwork...Thank you pa din Lord kahit marami me problems at challenges sa buhay...lam ko naman kaya ko toh! Aja! Sa tingin ko...kapag mas marami kang problema sa buhay, mas mahal ka ng Diyos...wahehe kasi syempre tiwala siya sayo kasi malalagpasan mo iyon kaya nga binigay nia sau...oh dba...kasi kung ala ka problema, paeasy easy lang ah eh mangamba ka..wahehe wala lng feeling ko kasi kapag ala ka problema di ka mg-ggrow at di makulay ang buhay...Marami mang pagsubok ngaun...I hope makuha ko din tlga ang mga pangarap ko sa buhay at para sa pamilya ko...
